Johann Kraus, God of Thunder.
The American Lobster
Another addition to the Hellboy-Avengers. The pulp-hero of the Hellboy universe plus Captain America seemed like a perfect fit for this sketch.

Owl PJs sketch
The Boy in the Owl Pajamas, the main character from a short comic of the same name. It was part of my psych final involving dream interpretation. The inspiration is a cowardly version of Max from Where the Wild Things are.

Old Hellboy Pinup.
Staying in the Hellboy mood! Old Christmas pinup for a friend. I'm going to recolor this one soon. This was back in the day when I was ok with doing halos on top of shadows.

Comix Redux: The Boy in the Owl Pajamas
The 24 hour comic I did for a psychology project on dreams. The main character, the Boy in the Owl Pajamas, was supposed to be the cowardly inverse of the main character in Where the Wild Things Are
.
Comix Redux: Featuring APB!
Page one and two represent the first comic I ever made apart from ones I made with crayon on line paper back in the day. In combo with the third page, they are the first two installments of the short lived All Points Bulletin comic. The strip followed the adventures of patrol officers Montgomery Dirk, William "Wiggles" McIntosh, and Detective Ricky Lau through the rural Renalds County.
Anyways the strips are filled with comic no-no's with bad lettering, tangents, and halos galore! I don't know how much mileage I can get out of the series, but I would love to see them drawn with what I know now.

Bar Napkins
So the weekend of October FLUKE I went to a sports bar in Athens.
Not too involved in the UGA/Vanderbuilt game, I doodled on bar napkins. Detailed pics after the jump.
Blog Banner
The blog banner. Hopefully I'll get it colored soon. I've really been interested in the Hindu lotus pattern recently and when I made the connection to the shape of my hair it was a must. The big, bold, black letters were inspired by King City.

Booster America
He Boost'n the Economy.
He Boost'n the Troops.
He Boost'n America!
This is a from a collection of patriotic themed superhero redesigns from SCAD-lanta. My Booster is an amalgamation of Ricky Bobby and Daredevil Evil Kinevil. Gunna revisit this on for sure.
